Welcome to Tesorini Montessori
Tesorini Montessori is an authentic Montessori Parent and Toddler Program I run from my home in Tewantin for children aged 14 months to 3 years. Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday
A parent or caregiver attends each session, ensuring a secure and supportive environment for their child. I hold each session, providing predictability and consistency.
Hello, I am Amber, an AMI-trained Montessori guide from birth to three years. I am passionate and fascinated about the sequence of how humans develop, foundational brain building, and the critical periods for attachment and learning. This passion drives me to collaborate with you and your toddler, guiding their unique developmental journey with both academic knowledge and real-world practice in early childhood development. I look forward to welcoming you and your toddler to my cosy home away from home, where they will feel safe, comfortable and nurtured.
Curious if Tesorini Montessori is the right fit for your child? I’d love to hear from you..

At Tesorini Montessori, my goal is twofold..
Firstly, I have created an environment conducive to the specific developmental needs of the toddler. Their brains are developing at the most rapid pace ever in their lifetime, building their brain architecture, wiring their nervous systems, and constructing psychological trust not only themselves, but the world. Knowing this, I care deeply about what I provide for them intellectually, spiritually, socially, emotionally, and psychologically.
Secondly, to talk with, work alongside, collaborate and support parents on cultivating a unified, dignified, and warm relationship with their child. To offer practical ways to take the profound beauty of the Montessori philosophy off the pages of a book and into their daily lives. When I first became a mother, a friend offered me a Montessori book to read, which offered so much insight and wisdom and set the tone for my interactions with my tiny infant and my developing relationship with my child. This, along with signing up for the Parent and Toddler Program at Montessori East in Sydney, profoundly impacted how I showed up as a parent.
Dr. Montessori described children under three as having an unconscious absorbent mind. An extraordinary ability to absorb and internalise information from their environment, without effort or judgement. During this period, children's brains are highly receptive to learning, and they naturally soak up language, culture, behaviour, and knowledge without conscious effort.
At Tesorini Montessori,
Parents gain knowledge into early childhood development and learn how to observe their child.
Parents learn how to support the natural independence and autonomy of the toddler; working with, collaborating with.
The toddlers world expands in a prepared environment - just for them, alongside the safety and secure base of a family member.
Parents connect with other engaged and receptive families.

Being Outside

The Daily Rhythm
9:30 am - Children are welcomed at the front door. Please help your child remove their shoes and place them on the shoe rack. When you come into the environment, please hang your bag on the hooks provided on the wall. The Montessori work cycle starts with each child choosing what to engage with. The adult collaborates with the child, offering help only when necessary. I will guide, collaborate and provide personalised presentations of the materials by observing your child and their interests.
Morning Tea
This is flexible depending on each child’s individual needs. Please pack your child healthy snacks, such as fruit and vegetables, without plastic packaging. I only provide a compost bin for the children to put their food scraps in. Children only absorb and embody sustainable behaviours if they see adults doing and participating in them. Additionally, I have a worm farm in the outdoor environment where the children can put their food scraps.
Food preparation is also provided as a Practical Life work available for your child.
11:00 – I wind down and complete the indoor session by singing songs on the ukulele. Children have the choice of whether to participate or not. This, too, signals to the children that the outdoor environment is now open. Once outside, it is also a valuable time for parents and caregivers to ask questions and reflect on the session.
11:30 am – End of the session.
